ASTM F3411 · ASD-STAN PrEN 4709 · UK RID · GB 42590 · DJI Drone-ID
One procurement covering every major Remote ID broadcast standard — including Chinese-market aircraft most Western receivers cannot decode.
What Ridfinder does
Three ways we help professional buyers
01 — Free
Requirements screening
Send the use case, constraints and timeline. Within one business day: whether RID fits, what it will and won't see, and what to check before spending anything.
02 — $199, fixed scope
Selection report
2–3 candidates against your hard constraints, parameter-by-parameter with sources and dates, interface samples, unverified items listed plainly, and a 30-minute walkthrough.
03 — Referral, disclosed
Supplier introduction
When a supplier fits, we coordinate the pre-sales back-and-forth. Any referral fee is disclosed to you in writing — before your details move.
Two detection layers
Two layers. Two different questions.
Remote ID receivers read the digital licence plate that compliant aircraft broadcast by law — identity, position, and the take-off point from the broadcast module. RF-spectrum sensors watch the airwaves themselves and may detect transmitting targets, such as FPV rigs and modified aircraft, within the bands and signal libraries the sensor supports. Neither layer detects every drone. Chained together, they turn an alert into a documented answer.
- RID layer$129–2,500Low false alarms · take-off location evidence
- RF-spectrum layer$3,500–15,000May detect transmitting non-broadcast aircraft · needs signal libraries
- CombinedAlert first, identify second — where the two layers overlap

Where it matters
Detection built for demanding sites

Prisons & Corrections
1,712 UK incidents in 2024–25. Evidence-grade logs of aircraft position and the RID-reported ground-station location.

Airports & Airspace
Passive receive-only monitoring for approach paths — no RF emissions; licence rules vary by jurisdiction and are checked per project.

Events & Stadiums
Deployable coverage for temporary venues — sized per event, not per year.

Critical Infrastructure
Perimeter awareness for utilities and plants, integrated into existing control rooms.
● MEASURED ◐ VENDOR-REPORTED ○ COMMUNITY
Every specification on this site is labelled with its evidence level — measured in tests, reported by the vendor, or observed by the community — with the date it was checked. Unverified claims are marked as such, not repeated as fact.
Tell us what you are trying to detect.
Describe the site, the aircraft you care about and your constraints. You get questions from an engineer, not a quote from a sales team.
